If your video freezes during a Blitzz call, the cause can be anything from a poor network to device settings. Start with the quick fixes.
Quick fixes
- Toggle the camera. Turn your video off and on, or use Change Camera in call settings. If you have more than one camera, switch between them a few times.
- Try a different browser. Switch to another supported browser.
- Free up memory. Close unused browser tabs and apps.
- Clear the browser cache(Chrome):
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner and select Settings.
- Click Privacy and security on the left.
- Click Delete browsing data. Choose a time range (such as All time) and select Browsing history, Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Delete data, then close and reopen Chrome.
Close other apps using the camera
Only one app can use the camera at a time, including Blitzz. Close other video or calling apps, make sure Blitzz is open in only one tab or window, then refresh the page.
Update your browser

Restart your device
Frozen video can mean an outdated or broken camera driver. Update your system and restart your device. This is especially helpful if you've been using several video apps. On Windows, camera drivers sometimes stop working, and a restart often fixes it.
Frequently asked questions
