Update Camera and Microphone Drivers on Windows

If your webcam doesn't work in Blitzz, an outdated or broken driver is a common cause. Here's how to update it on Windows.

How to update webcam drivers manually

  1. Make sure nothing is covering the camera lens.
  2. Search for Device Manager in the Windows Start menu.
  3. Select Imaging devices or Cameras.
  4. Right-click your webcam and select Uninstall device.
  5. Check Delete the driver software for this device, then click Uninstall.
  6. Restart your computer. Windows reinstalls the latest camera driver automatically.

Still not working? Check whether the camera works in another web app. If possible, plug it into a different computer to rule out a faulty camera.
