[Mobile App] Allow Access to Camera on Android Mobile App

If your camera is not showing up in the Blitzz Settings or it is selected and not showing any video, these tips can help you troubleshoot why it is not working.

Ensure no other apps are using the camera

  1. Open recent applications. How to open this varies by device. On some devices, you can hold down the home button and some have a recent applications button
  2. Swipe right to close any applications that are using the camera

Check that Blitzz ShowMe has permissions for the camera

  1. Open the device Settings
  2. Tap Applications
  3. Tap Application Manager
  4. Tap ShowMe
  5. If it does not list access to take pictures and videos, uninstall and reinstall the app

Uninstall and reinstall the Blitzz ShowMe app

  1. Open your device Settings
  2. Tap Applications
  3. Tap Application Manager
  4. Tap Blitzz
  5. Tap Uninstall
  6. Confirm Uninstall
  7. Open the Play Store
  8. Search for Blitzz ShowMe
  9. Tap Install
  10. Click allow when you are asked to camera permissions while joining a callĀ 

Restart your android device

If you are still running into issues, try to restart your android device.
