Choppy video is frustrating. These tips help both you and your participant get a better call.
Tips for both participants
- Use fast internet, or connect with an Ethernet cable. Video quality adjusts to your connection speed, so faster internet means better video.
- Use a newer computer or phone. Video takes a lot of processing power. Older or slower devices can cause choppy video.
- Use headphones. Your device usually removes echo automatically. If you still hear echo, have both participants use headphones.
- Restart your computer before the call. Other software may be using resources or interfering with your camera or mic.
